Because it is our mission "To increase in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" Foothills has chosen to create a child-centered infant care program. Children's growth is supported and dictates the types of activities the lead teacher uses throughout the day.
During the day, the children will be immersed in activities such as art, science, sensory play, language, music, and outdoor play that will all come back together to themes laid out. Morning Circle consists of 2-3 songs, and a story with an emphasis on the children's spiritual life. Second Circle consists of 2-3 songs, fingerplays, and a story with an emphasis on our theme. Each week two art projects will be made featuring our theme and the letter, number, or shape of the week.
A schedule has been created based on the developmental needs of each age group and differentiated for each child's needs.
